On February 1, 2009, Astral Gamma Design was established by AL2Phoenix as a web design group. This group began its activity on blogger.com as a blogspot subdomain. However, it never gained popularity. Most of its sites never made it into the best sites category, and so, Astral Gamma slowly fades away. But on January 2010, the group became active once again, and this time, it launches a nursing resource site named http://nursing-resource.com. Its aim is to provide nurses with free nursing resource to help nurses in their career.
The site was met with tough challenges. It started with 0 visitors. From this range it started to climb to 1, then to 5, then to 10. On mid January, it manages to grab at least 20 visitors a day, thanks to various web site referrers. On February, Nursing-Resource.com’s traffic reach 30+, and by the end of the month, it gained around 40-50. This range continued all throughout March, and mid April.
On February 16th, 2010, Nursing-Resource.com gained its HON code seal. This seal guarantees that our website is a trustworthy medical information site. Apparently, this approval enrolled us on the HON code’s search engine, and allowed major search engines to mark us as a good site. It may be one of the many reasons we had gained more traffic.
On April 2010, Nursing-Resource.com transformed from a mere blog into a community website. And following the changes, Nursing-Resource.com suddenly gained a whooping PR3 rank on Google’s Search Engine. This increased our traffic from 40-70+. And somewhere in mid-April up to the current, something surprising happened. Nursing-Resource.com has hit the 100+ hits daily mark. See the graph below:

Nursing-Resource.com’s rise in visitors is a clear sign of success. All thanks to our valued nursing and non-nursing visitors.
In the history of our little group, this was the first time that it occurred; something we never achieved a year ago. Hopefully this trend continues. And hopefully, Nursing-Resource.com will continue to climb the ladder and be among the top sites. This success will also enable us to serve information to a wider audience and help more nurses in the process.

Astral Gamma Designs, AL2Phoenix’s little group began on blogspot as a blog. Our lonely group never gained any support, but we are still bound to continue our free services for the benefit of others. And as usual, we thrive to share free information on the net.
Throughout the years, we aspire to expand our network up a bit. And just to make ends meet, we decided to finance the campaign using our own pocket money. Our little investment wasn’t enough to make vast networks, however, as part of our expansion, we decided to use http://nursing-resource.com (our own website) as our stepping stone.
This subdomain will contain our group’s updates. It will temporarily serve as our official blog site until we can expand our network some more.
